Wednesday January 28th from 7-9 in the Brunner Chapel, we will have our first
"Last Wednesday of the Month" Dharma Discussion. This schedule will replace our third Friday of the month discussion. The first discussion will center around a short film, Nothing Special, a rare and intimate look into the practice of one of the great secular Zen teachers,
Charlotte Joko Beck (1917-2011), author of the classic books Everyday Zen and Nothing Special. A 30 minute discussion led by William McCracken and Ben Fleury-Steiner will follow the film. This will kick off a series of monthly discussions centered around Joko's rich and very accessible teachings on the relevance of practice in everyday life. We look forward to seeing you at our inaugural event!
